It is really exciting to watch a young entrepreneur launch his first company.  Josh Weinstein was one of the first members of Dogpatch Labs NY having graduated Princeton only six months earlier.   He came to us with the idea that the advent of Facebook connect would create the opportunity to build the next evolution of on-line dating.   GoodCrush, like Facebook, will be starting on college campuses around the country and in order to “crush” someone you must have an edu address.   GoodCrush was first created two years ago at Princeton University as part of a student government project with fantastic results— 30% of the student body signed up within the first 24 hours!

Online dating is another one of those really big markets that has a few big players a bunch of little players but very little innovation.

It has been fun to watch Josh and his team collaborate with the other members of Dogpatch Labs NY as they were preparing for this launch.  We all excited to watch GoodCrush grow.
