NYC SEEDSTART Summer 2010 Program

As one of the proud sponsors of the NYC SeedStart Summer 2010 Program I wanted to put out a reminder that applications are due on February 28, 2010.

NYC SeedStart is an 8-week summer program designed to provide seed funding for technology teams to build a product and launch their company.   Up to 10 teams will be given a small amount of funding, space, and mentorship in exchange for a small piece of equity in whatever they build.  This program is designed for entrepreneurs and hackers who are passionate about their product. If selected, you can spend a summer building your product, freed from thinking about office space or living expenses and with access to our network for help. At the end of the summer, groups will present their work to investors with the hope of finding additional funding.

If you are an entrepreneur or hacker at the earliest stages of creating a business we would love to hear from you.  If you know people who would be interested in applying or are a prolific blogger please spread the word!  This is a really unique opportunity especially for those excited about participating in the vibrant early stage eco-system in New York.
